Department of Archaeogenetics
The Department of Archaeogenetics is hosting a workshop from 7-9 August to discuss the archaeology of Archaic and Ceramic sites in Pre-Columbian Cuba. We’ll be hearing from experts about the results already obtained through bio-archaeological methods such as isotopes and aDNA, and looking into the legacy of present-day people from Cuba to determine how best to capture the transition from the Archaic to the Ceramic age and detect interactions between different groups.
You can find detailed information about the workshop programme and abstracts of the talks here.
