Professorship at The University of Malta Awarded to Eleanor Scerri
The Honorary Professorship was awarded in the Department of Classics and Archaeology of The University of Malta, Malta, with which the Pan-African Evolution Research Group already enjoys close collaborative relationships.
Eleanor Scerri, head of the Pan-African Evolution Research Lab (Pan-Ev) and ‘Lise Meitner’ Excellence Program group leader, has been awarded the title of professor by her alma mater, the University of Malta, through an honorary affiliation in recognition of her teaching and research work on Malta. A major fieldwork program between Pan-Ev, The University of Malta and the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage on the island is currently underway, with plans in progress for more interdisciplinary research.
