Main Focus
My current research focuses on how we recognize recently learnt faces. In particular, I investigate why strong individual differences exist in face recognition abilities, and whether these are also related to the degree of social functioning. I am interested in both the behavioral effects and the neural responses of face recognition in different individuals. In addition, I have experience with neuroimaging meta-analyses, and I use such approaches to investigate the relationship between brain structure and function.
