Scientific information service

The central information service (IVS) of the Max Planck Society is located at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Munich. It offers and provides staff and guests of the Max Planck Society service in the following areas:

• Bibliometric analyses such as H-factors and rankings

• Support in the use of reference management systems for storing, organizing and sharing reference collections, e.g. EndNote and Mendeley.

• Training and workshops via online-communication programs and support to search efficiently in databases

• A description of and links to important databases
