Main Focus

I am an archaeologist with a geographic focus on East Asia (northeastern China in particular). I joined the eurasia3angle project at MPI (Jena) in Fall, 2016, as a Postdoc Researcher. In the next four years, my research focus is to explore cultural diffusion and exchange in prehistoric NE China and its surrounding areas (including the Korea Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago) by tracing the possible networks of archaeological remains (especially those closely related to the sedentary dry-farming practice). My research methodology combines both qualitative and quantitative methods to serve the comparative purpose.
