Call for student assistants at the Mint
The Minds and Traditions Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History in Jena is hiring student assistants. The student assistants will help assembling and curating various datasets, obtained by compiling books and other sources into electronic databases.
Knowledge of English is imperative, while a command of German is appreciated. Some experience with programming (Python) and image treatment (Adobe Illustrator) can be a plus but is not mandatory.
Remuneration is based on an hourly rate of 10,81 euros for up to 83 hours per month (around 830 euros a month for a full-time contract). Flexible hours and schedule.
This research group is affiliated with the Jena Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History, a multi-disciplinary laboratory gathering researchers in linguistics, cultural evolution, archaeology and archaeogenetics.
